Today is National Walking Day!
Get up and move! While it might not feel like Spring everywhere just yet, today is National Walking Day (sponsored by the American Heart Association). At work and at home, we’re becoming more and more sedentary – so today is a good reminder to get up and move around. Whether you take a few laps around your office, walk to get lunch or grab a friend a go for a stroll this evening, it’s important to make daily exercise a priority. Inactivity can lead to a number of health problems including heart disease. So, encourage your friends, family and coworkers to join you today for a walk!
